Yesterday, 26th February 2015, we held another web conference session entitled Deep Content in SEO Strategies.

On this occasion, we had the pleasure of welcoming as a speaker Pau Llambí Feliu, an independent digital marketing consultant specializing in SEO strategies, content marketing and social media. He gave us a detailed analysis of the new SEO positioning techniques and content marketing strategies.

In this extremely interesting session, we gained insight into prior strategies for dealing with content management, tools for identifying influencers, achieving good positioning and monitoring keyword lists to ascertain the current position of a website.

Over 80% of Internet users utilize search engines to find products and the information they need. Google deals with over a billion searches every day.

According to the report drafted by Nielsen, over 74% of internet users use search engines before making a purchase. Therefore, if your website is not applying the rules of SEO, you are losing a great deal of traffic and, as a result, a very significant part of your business potential.

Unique, original and quality content remains an obsession and is the most relevant factor for Google. As such, companies that want to improve their positioning on search engines must take a giant leap and starting working on an effective content marketing strategy as soon as possible.

Pau Llambí showed us what to do when we have identified the keyword that we will work with for our business, as well as giving us an analysis if the best tools for clipping and SEO positioning, which is extremely useful for all types of users.

“When we draft contents, we need to know how to use internal linking effectively, which is very good for us as long as we do so in a natural way and in an appropriate context. We can link to other articles, our other pages, to transmit positioning from certain pages to others”, explained Pau Llambí.

In addition, a large part of the session focused on the combination of content distribution channels, thinking about new opportunities such as native advertising and contextual marketing, as well as implementing a measuring system for content marketing.

Pau finished by explaining that “content will continue to rule the game. Google is obsessed by content quality, far more than links and keywords.”

Before bring the web conference to a close, we had the opportunity to clear up any doubts in a question and answer session, with our participants who are active on social media posing their questions to the speaker, who responded live.

If you would like to see the session again, you can watch the full video (in Spanish) of the web conference: Deep Content in SEO strategies.
