Colombia is the four-largest nation in South America and with a privileged location between the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans it has become one of the largest recipients of foreign investment in the region in the latest years. In fact, according to international expert analysts one of the world's most important emergent economies.

With approximately 42 million inhabitants, Colombia is the third most populated country in Latin America. A pending free trade agreement with the USA has yet to be ratified by the American Congress. Colombia is leader in products such as coffee, oil or precious stones.

EAE Business School has been operating in Colombia for more than 30 years and has signed several cooperation agreements with some of the best universities and business schools in the country. In 2005 the first office was opened in Bogotá to give information and academic advice to EAE graduates based elsewhere in Colombia and people interested in the undergraduate, master and MBA programmes delivered at EAE Business School.
