As a result of the collaboration agreement signed at the beginning of the year, EAE Business School and "Atresmedia" are rolling out two new Masters in the field of Communication: the Master in Communications Company Management and the Master in Journalism and Digital Communication. All of the participants who complete these Masters will receive a joint qualification from EAE Business School and the Atresmedia group. Both programmes will be run at EAE’s Madrid Campus starting in October 2014.

Máster en Dirección de Empresas de Comunicación EAE Atresmedia The Master in Communications Company Management runs for 10 months and accounts for 60 ECTS credits spread across seven modules, ranging from Strategic Media Management to the development of Executive Skills in Communications. In addition, the programme includes a Business Game that focuses on companies in the communications sector, as well as the development of a Business Plan. Moreover, participants will have the opportunity to enjoy a week of classes in the head office of Antena 3, with access to a communications decision simulator. The aim of this Master is to develop the competences required to manage business projects in communications companies, always with the global perspective needed to perform management activity with the maximum possible effectiveness, creative and social responsibility.

Máster en Periodismo y Comunicación Digital EAE Atresmedia The Master in Journalism and Digital Communication runs for 10 months and accounts for 60 ECTS credits spread across nine modules, covering the main journalistic techniques in the digital environment and equipping students with knowledge in areas of Online Marketing, such as Results Analysis and Content Marketing. In addition, participants complete a Final Project in which they draft a piece of journalistic content and create the process for its dissemination. The aim of this Master is to prepare and train journalists who are capable of conducting digital journalism in a professional manner and developing their journalistic skills within the framework of digital media, embarking on entrepreneurial projects on the Internet and understanding the role of the press office in a digital environment.

As an added benefit to the academic training, on completion of either of the courses, students have the opportunity to get practical experience on a placement in one of the companies of the Atresmedia Group, such as Antena 3 TV, Onda Cero and La Sexta. Meanwhile, both of these Masters enhance networking opportunities with communications professionals thanks to the students receiving visits throughout the programme from experts from Atresmedia, Spain’s largest private communications group. Furthermore, participants can count on the support of EAE’s Virtual Campus, one of the most advanced platforms on the market. Used by universities such as Princeton, Stanford and Duke, this campus incorporates Blackboard Mobile technology, which enables students to access all of the functionalities from their pocket using any mobile device.
