The University Master in Economic Analysis of Law and Public Administration gives you an in-depth insight into the world of law from a different perspective to the traditional analysis applied by legal professionals. This methodology applies economic reasoning to analyse laws and other regulatory systems, such as contracts, case law and any other kinds of social regulation related to business. The main objective of the Master in Economic Analysis of Law is to enhance efficiency in the legal systems and other social organization mechanisms, such as public institutions and policy, with the aim of equipping students to operate as experts in legal consultancy.
From the perspective of the Economic Analysis of Law, laws and public policies are seen as a source of incentives, focusing on their legal, economic and social consequences. This approach constitutes the most significant innovation in the field of law in the last few decades and is becoming increasingly influential in the Law Schools of the world’s top universities. The University Master in Economic Analysis of Law and Public Administration is an in-person program run at the EAE Madrid Campus at Calle Joaquín Costa 41, right at the heart of the financial hub, very close to the New Ministerios complex, Paseo de la Castellana and Calle Serrano.
The Campus covers around 4,000 m2 spread over five floors, with a terrace and private garden. Our facilities include 24 study rooms and classrooms, 10 multi-purpose rooms for coworking, meetings and video conferences, and events hall with a seating capacity of 100 people, reading room and library, cafeteria and a number of student service offices.
One of EAE Business School’s key objectives is to ensure that the students’ learning process is as enriching as possible both in and outside the classroom. To achieve this, we give them access to a set of activities adapted to each of their profiles and the current stage in their learning process.
