Monday 4th May 2020 – EAE Business School has designed a virtual internship program, entitled EA-tE Ayuda, in collaboration with CEOE and the Valladolid Confederation of Businesspeople, which will run over the months of May, June and July. The program will enable students to successfully complete the curricular internship course and also give them the opportunity to contribute all their knowledge towards helping companies to reactivate the economy within the new context triggered by Covid 19.
The projects that companies can ask students to develop cover all the fields of knowledge that comprise the Masters run by EAE. In this respect, examples of the projects include developing an e-commerce plan, communication and CSR strategies, marketing plan, business continuity and contingency plans, redesigning and optimizing logistics processes, project management tools, online training design, website and content design, financial plan, human resources, business expansion in Latin America, digital transformation plan, compliance and risk management, among others.
The procedure involved in EA-tE Ayuda starts with a company requesting a project from EAE. The School then puts together a team of students to draw up the plan and assigns the team an academic tutor. The team, which may be formed of students from different Masters, depending on the company’s needs, has six weeks to design its project. At the end of the design period, they will give a presentation online..
The Director of Curricular Internships at EAE Business School, Pilar Llácer, emphasizes that this initiative offers a win-win solution for both parties. “On the one hand, the students have the opportunity to give companies the benefit of their potential to respond to the new challenges brough about by Covid 19. On the other, companies get a new perspective from a multi-skilled team, to enable it to contribute towards reactivating the economy and the business community in the new age of Covid 19”. .
