Monday 24th July 2017 – EAE Business School (www.eae.es) is reinforcing its commitment to promoting entrepreneurship with the launch of a new business Incubator, EAE LAB, which will give ten projects the opportunity to enhance their potential and viability, as well as the chance to present their ideas to investors. The participants in the initiative have access to legal, administrative, accounting and employment advice from the multinational firm Baker Tilly, with orientation and training on financial tools and access to credit instruments and networking platforms, as well as the guidance of a coach and an in-person mentoring program.
The objective of this initiative of EAE Business School is to promote the entrepreneurial mindset and competence among its current and former students and lecturers, equipping them with the tools required to enable the evolution of their entrepreneurial ventures. The program lasts between 6 and 12 months, from October 2017 and October 2018. The deadline for submitting applications is 30th September.
Initially, the selected projects will be given two weeks of intensive training for a total of 25 hours, on areas such as marketing, communication, sales, metrics, legal aspects and coaching. They will also have access to a virtual classroom and physical spaces to work in (telephone, internet, furniture, meeting room, whiteboard). At the end of the incubation period, they will take part in a presentation of the projects to potential investors (Venture Day).
When selecting the projects, EAE Business School values the team's passion, motivation, values and unity in order to drive forward a joint venture, the uniqueness of the idea and its capacity to make an impact on the market based on a model that is sustainable in economic, environmental and social terms. Moreover, the School also takes into account the team's skills and capacity in terms of specific disciplines (design, marketing, engineering, etc.), as well as their social skills (capacity to work in a team, communication skills, etc.).
