EAE Welcome for Part-Time and Weekend students in Madrid, an authentic experience

The April Part-Time and Weekend sessions have held the welcome event for the new students. Francisco Cervigón, the Program Coordinator at EAE Business School, accompanied Merche Aranda at the EAE Welcome event held at the Príncipe de Vergara Campus. They explained all the organizational aspects with respect to the Master in Executive Development, Emotional Intelligence and Coaching. To begin, Merche Aranda introduced herself by reciting the poem 'Journey to Ithaca', before explaining that the ACTP requirements of the program and its differential values "prepare students for ICF certification ICF and specific training in Emotional Intelligence"
This Master of discovery, disruption and self-awareness is very experiential. The Weekend format is ideal for working professionals who want to improve their knowledge and competences. Francisco advised the new students to take advantage of all the services offered by the School. To end her presentation, Merche told the students to enjoy the experience and come with a thirst for learning.
Esther González Arnedo, the Director of the Master in HR Management, welcomed the new students, while Susana Cabada did the same for those starting on the Master in Marketing and Commercial Management. In a different classroom, Elena Bulmer and Laura Arcediano gave a warm welcome to the new students on the Master in Project Management.
The main objective of the Master in Project Management is to prepare CEOs to run projects in different sectors using the Project Management methodology. "It is a matter of being a leader and motivating people, which is not an easy thing to do. You are going to integrate all the knowledge you acquire within the Master's Thesis", explained Elena, highlighting the desire to learn shown by the students on the Part Time and Weekend programs.
Networking at Utopicus
The students on the Executive MBA, and the Masters in Executive Development, Emotional Intelligence and Coaching, Online Marketing and Electronic Commerce, HR Management, Marketing Management and Project Management met up for a brunch organized by EAE at Utopicus, coworking space that has recently opened in Madrid.
Paola Masías, a Peruvian student on the Master in Marketing Management, has worked for many years at an advertising agency and he now wants to work on the client side. His Colombian classmate on the program is Leonardo Vázquez, a student with a financial profile who is passionate about marketing. Leonardo has been working for years in direct sales and commercial strategy and now wants to expand his knowledge in order to climb the ranks in this line of business.
Alia Aismadi has come to the capital from Granada to take the Master in Project Management. She works as a consultant and chose EAE because she needs to give her career a boost and she is keen on project coordination. Venezuelan student Liliana Mancini explained that she has experience in the world of sales and wants to move out of the financial sector to help the company grow, develop and support other groups. The student's husband is also studying at EAE, but he is taking the Master in Sales and Commercial Management.
The actor and consultant José Valero has come from Alicante (Torrevieja) to Madrid to take the Master Project Management. "Consultancy and Project Management are a good match for developing a more solid career over the long term". José chose EAE Business School because of its positioning, references and the learning approach based on the North American methodology, with a strong practical focus, "which is a far more enjoyable way to learn".
Ignacio Gandaria, a student on the Master in Commercial and Sales Management, comes from the world of hospitality and picked EAE because he wants to change sector and open up new opportunities. His classmate on the program, Ignacio Barragán, works in a car rental company and wants to develop his career, train and increase his salary. "The Master is the most useful tool I have found".
A student on the Executive MBA, Alejandro Prieto comes from the legal consultancy sector. He opted for EAE to broaden his professional outlook and grow internally. From Barcelona, Sergi Cebrián is a legal advisor and he chose this program with the main goal of introducing a disruptive element in his life and changing at a professional level.
