Sofia Closas, the HR Business Partner at Mars Iberia, Silvia Casañas, an HR Specialist at Mango, Sara Pastor, an HR Recruiter at EY, and María Font, a New Business Marketing Intern at Glovo, share their expectations and objectives with respect to Talent EAE, to be held on 5th March. The venue for the event is the Hotel Catalonia (Plaça Espanya 6-8) in Barcelona.
Expectations of Talent EAE 2019
Silvia Casañas (Mango) This is the first time we are taking part in Talent EAE. It is a pleasure for us and, throughout the year for many years now, students from the School have been doing internships at our company. Our expectations are to make contact with the students and deal with them on a more personal level, clear up any doubts they may have and, obviously, attract talent from EAE.
Sara Pastor (EY) EY attends this event every year. We hope to find a great deal of talent through the event, which puts us right in contact with the students. Taking part in Talent EAE enables organizations to acquire talent and cover certain positions
María Font (Glovo) This is the first time that Glovo is taking part in Talent EAE. Our goal is to raise awareness of our company, our objectives and values, in order to find the profiles with the most talent who are willing to take risks in a fast-paced, multicultural working environment.
Sofia Closas (Mars Iberia) This is the first time that Mars Iberia is participating. Our objective is to enhance our employer branding and present our young talent development programs. In our opinion, these events are ideal for making a connection between the needs of the organization in terms of talent acquisition and development, and the students' expectations.
Profiles in the highest demand, skills required at their company
Sara Pastor (EY) The profiles in the highest demand are people in the last year of their Bachelor Degree or Master. The skills we need are teamwork, motivation, a desire to learn, good communication, proactiveness and a good level of English.
María Font (Glovo) We are primarily looking for profiles with a great deal of analytical and strategic capacity. Proactive professionals aligned with our fundamental values who want to work in a company that strives to have a great impact on society through its work.
Sofia Closas (Mars Iberia) The profile for our young talent development programs is Bachelor Degree students specializing at a Postgraduate or Master level, focusing on business areas such as Sales, Marketing, Finance and Supply Chain. For us, it is really important to identify profiles with learning agility, the ability to leave their comfort zone and passion for growing and developing within our Mars culture.
Silvia Casañas (Mango) at our company, there is a great variety of profiles, as there are over 50 departments at our head office. One thing that all the profiles have in common is languages, as this is a multinational company, as well as analytical and management profiles. As far as we are concerned, the person's attitude is really important. We really value people's ability to work as a team and to contribute to a good working atmosphere; people who want to learn and share their ideas, who will be a great addition to the team.
María Font (Glovo) At Glovo, we offer both internship and full-time positions in almost all our departments (Finance, Operations, Strategy, Sales, Marketing, etc.).
The potential of EAE Business School's students and alumni
María Font (Glovo) In our opinion, EAE students are really interesting profiles for our company in view of the international profile and professional quality of the master and postgraduate programs. The great amount of practical content in the programs, the School's renowned status and its experience training successful leaders for many years are other aspects that grab our attention.
Sara Pastor (EY) Students specialized in different sectors and fields.
Sofia Closas (Mars Iberia) EAE offers the possibility of training in different disciplines, as well as providing great networking for and with companies that enable both parties' needs to be fulfilled.
Talent EAE as a high-coverage employability event
Sara Pastor (EY) Because they are specialized in specific sectors and fields through the Masters.
María Font (Glovo) EAE students are profiles with professional experience who have completed or are taking a Master of high professional quality, and renowned at national and international level. We hope to fine international profiles with talent, who can generate value in a high-paced startup environment. In our opinion, there is no better place to find such profiles than in a top business school like EAE.
Attracting and contracting professionals at their companies
Sara Pastor (EY) They have the opportunity to have a unique experience in which they can learn a great deal in a short amount of time with a great working atmosphere.
Silvia Casañas (Mango) At Mango, what students are primarily going to find is a real experience in the area they are interested in, a youthful and dynamic team with lots of enthusiasm for what they are doing, and the opportunity to form part of our workforce when they complete their internship.
Sofia Closas (Mars Iberia) They are going to find real opportunities for development. Most of our positions are covered by internal talent and our development plans are aligned with achieving this objective. We also have cross-functional programs that enable you to work in different business departments in a short period of time.
María Font (Glovo) Glovo is a startup fully in the throes of growth. As such, it is a great opportunity for you to develop professionally working in an environment characterized by constant challenges. Key features of our company include its youthful, international atmosphere and its great ambitions to make a difference in society.
