JoaquĆn Azcue, the Associate Dean for Graduate Programs at EAE Business School, took part in the Eduniversal Convention, which was scheduled to be held in Lisbon but eventually took place online from 10th to 12th November, with the participation of over 200 business schools and universities.
The Eduniversal World Convention 2020 gave recognition to the top business school in the world, with EAE Business School being awarded three Palms of Excellence. This accolade reasserts EAEās status as an āexcellent business school with a consolidated international influenceā. In this edition of the event, a total of 30 business schools from all over the world received awards.
JoaquĆn Azcue took part in a round table entitled āOnline, Offline, Blended - Advances in Teaching Methodsā, alongside George Jabbour, the Associate Dean for Executive Programs at George Washington University School of Business, Daria Denisova, the Associate Dean for International Affairs at Lomonosov Moscow State University and Alain Goudey, the Director of Digital Transformation & Chief Digital Officer at Neoma Business School.
In his presentation, Azcue explained that EAEās lecturers adapted āwith great creativityā to the new reality, using all the tools available during lockdown. In this new context. He also emphasized that EAE devised a new format, Hybrid Connected, that combines an online period and an in-person period to optimize the studentsā development and learning in view of their new needs. āA format that combines the benefits of the online and in-person formatsā, added Azcue.
The Associate Dean of EAE also explained that EAE ran a curricular internship program with an online format, with the participation of over 40 companies, including Bodegas Familiares Matarromera, Grupo B2Sport, Gold Tower Productions and the international executive talent search firm Odgers Berndtson, among others.
