At EAE, we know that the sooner you start training, the faster your progress will be. With this in mind, each year, the School runs the EAE High School Baccalaureate Awards, specially aimed at for students in the last year of high school or an advanced vocation program. In view of the situation we currently face, we have extended the deadline for submission and you now have until 1st May to hand in your project. Ready for it?
This year, the projects related to the business world, the economy and marketing will be taking part so, if you are currently taking the second year of the High School Baccalaureate, like a challenge and want to conquer the world with your business prowess, this is your opportunity!
The students selected will be announced on 15th May and the three finalists will give their presentations on 4th June. In the event that it is not possible for the students to give their presentations to the academic panel at the EAE Campus, they will do so online..
What is EAE’s High School Baccalaureate Award all about?
It is a great opportunity to win grants for Bachelor Degree programs at EAE, a leading business school setting the standard in education thanks to its unique and innovative methodology. We want to reward the creativity and entrepreneurship of young people who are completing the first stage of their education, giving them the opportunity to freely express their initiative in the academic world. The competition involves carrying out a research project focusing on a business plan or related to the world of business or economics.
Who can take part?
The 6th edition of EAE’s High School Baccalaureate Award is open to all students taking the second year of the High School Baccalaureate or the last year of a vocational training program at a school in Spain.
What kind of projects can participate?
The research projects in the 6th edition of EAE’s High School Baccalaureate Award must focus on a business plan or some aspect related to the business or economic world. Alternatively, they may focus on reflections on or plans for any functional area of a company, such as finance, marketing and entrepreneurship, among others. They must be individual projects that have the support of a tutor who, together with the school, will validate the research project.
When, where and how do I submit my project?
The project submission period started on 5th December and has now been extended until 1st May 2020. The projects must be submitted to EAE’s Barcelona Campus (Carrer Aragó 55, 08015, Barcelona) in a sealed envelope addressed to Mariona Vilà with the title “Candidate project for the 6th EAE High School Baccalaureate Award: Ideas for the new economy”. The enveloped must contain a printed bound copy of the project, as well as a digital version (PDF files on a CD or USB).

What are the prizes and when will they be presented?
The winner of EAE’s High School Baccalaureate Awards will receive a 100% grant equivalent to the full fees of the first year of EAE’s Bachelor Degree in Business Administration and Management or the Bachelor Degree in Marketing. Their tutor will be given a special prize and their school receives €5,000. The runner-up will win a grant equivalent to 50% of the fees, as well as the prize for the tutor and €2,500 for their school. The contestant that wins third place will receive a grant equivalent to 25% of the fees and a prize for the tutor. The winners will be announced on 15th May!
