When something ends, a new future starts..
The 2021/2022 graduation of EAE Business School’s students is just another step towards a new stage of personal growth that is about to start.
There was excitement in the air during these days, both in the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium (Madrid) with Sonia Golpe and Carlos Lamelo as presenters, as well as in the Palau Sant Jordi (Barcelona) where Esther Vaquero took Sonia’s place.
Both cities together managed to gather around 5000 graduates in total, all of them eager to celebrate the moment and to face new challenges.
Both the faculty and the students themselves have had our support in order to turn this year into an inspiring experience. That’s why everyone there was thrilled but also sad to say farewell to the people with whom they have forged such a special bond.
Everyone developed new skills and acquired new tools, both as individuals and as professionals. Focusing on education, on asking questions, on transformation. On seeing the value of teamwork and of every teammate’s principles. On re-inventing themselves.
Like Alberto Granados (Sponsor of the Class of 2021/2022 and President of Microsoft Spain) said at EAE’s Graduation Ceremony in Madrid:
“From this day onwards, a new opportunity starts; one to build your future and re-imagine the future of our society. You’re the generation with the best academic education in History and you know that you can become the protagonists of your destiny.”
EAE Business School and its faculty have always transmitted that authenticity is what companies want, above anything else. That’s why we’ve taught our students how to grow in an environment with great cultural diversity and how to lose the fear of failure.
Graduations mark the end of a stage and it felt like such — there was an air of excitement just thinking about what the graduates will be able to bring to their work environment. Something that César González-Bueno (Sponsor of the Class of 2021/2022 and Managing Director at Sabadell Bank) highlighted at EAE’s Graduation Ceremony in Barcelona:
““From this moment on, you’re the group of people that can actually decide what to do for a living. Obsess about that which you like. Don’t let anything stop you. Change course if needed. You’re digital natives, creatives and with a high adaptation to the environment. You’re much more tolerant than previous generations, more empathic and less visceral.
Besides calling every graduate to receive their graduation sash, they were surprised with an emotional surprise: the projection of a video that showed their families congratulating them for what they have achieved. We also awarded the excellence of several professors, students with the best academic record, the teams with the best score on the Babson Challenge and well renowned companies like Amazon and LVMH with the Top Recruiter Award.
At the end of both ceremonies, graduates had the same feeling after so many shared moments: The healthy satisfaction of ending a stage in order to start a new one.
Never ending, always changing.
