THREE BBA STUDENTS AT EAE WIN THE INTERNATIONAL “EL RETO 2014” COMPETITION
In 2014, the Spanish firm CompanyGame organized its international business simulation competition entitled ‘El Reto 2014’ (The Challenge 2014). Over 1,000 students from more than 120 universities in 13 countries in Ibero-America took part in the competition. Formed by three degree students from EAE Barcelona, the EAE GROUP team came first in the banking category, beating the 19 other teams that participated. They are Guillermo Ferrer, Mao Zheng and Mishell Ponce.
STUDENTS ON EAE’S BBA WIN RENTA 4’S STOCK MARKET CONTEST
In 2014, a group of fourth year students on the Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management at EAE Business School came first in the stock market competition organized by Renta 4. The aim of the competition is to achieve the greatest possible return on a portfolio of stocks with an initial capital of €100,000 to invest over 15 days, with a requirement to conduct a minimum of 5 transactions on the IBEX 35 or the Continuous market. The group of students from EAE took home the gold medal after achieving a return of 8.3% in 15 days with a total of 24 stock market transactions.
