The path of an entrepreneur is not an easy one because, from start to finish, it is usually filled with obstacles such as uncertainty when making decisions, a lack of reliable and committed partners, fear of failure and difficulty getting financing. However, at EAE Business School, we have developed a system that not only makes this path easier, but also accompanies entrepreneurs from the definition of the idea right through to the complex process of searching for funding.
This was the idea behind EAE Investor: :an investment platform designed to support current and former EAE students in all aspects of financing their projects.
Recently, was published, which includes a special section on this beneficial program.
For the last 20 years, EAE Investor has helped the EAE Community to develop innovative and multidisciplinary projects related to technologies and cutting edge sectors in both Spain and Latin America. The many services it offers includes the following:
Over the years, the program has facilitated and boosted the development of a diverse range of ideas and entrepreneurial ventures related to different sectors of the economy, including the following key examples:
Acqustic
Acqustic is a project developed at EAE Business School consisting of an app for musicians who want to boost their career. As well as an employment portal that combines listings of concerts in bars, restaurants, hotels and shopping malls, Aqcustic includes a digital distribution service for uploading music to the major platforms and a concert billing management facility. The app currently covers Barcelona, Valencia, Alicante and Madrid, and has produced around 500 concerts.
Reloadly
Reloadly is a platform for integrating credit transfer and mobile top-up features in apps through a cloud-based API platform. The service complements the existing services, enabling software developers to connect to over 600 operators around the world with an easily integrated API.
The Sideways Project
Making its way in the field of healthcare, The Sideways Project is the first autonomous wheelchair with patented sideways technology that enables users to move in any direction, revolutionizing mobility in small indoor spaces. The project has had a great impact, not just because of the advanced technology that it uses but also, most importantly, the direct improvement it makes to the day-to-day life of people with a disability.
Gadaca
Also in the medical field, Gadaca is a digital medicine solution enables users to access remote medical attention 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, from hospitals and private healthcare centres in Spain, including extremely useful services such as remote access to health records, online reports and prescriptions, alarms for therapeutic adherence, digital monitoring and post-consultation follow-up, all without leaving home.
These four projects are a great example of both EAE Business School’s commitment to entrepreneurship and the efficacy of the EAE Investor program which, year after year, finances and boosts projects of all kinds.
