More than 4,500 companies recruiting talent
Through the School's Employment Exchange, the Professional Careers Service processed a total of 6,375 employment and professional internship offers last year (compared to 5,553 offers posted in 2016). More than 4,500 companies (27.99% more than the year before) search for the best talent at EAE Business School to join their organizations operating in more than 34 different sectors.
As such, on average, the School's students had access to 530 published offered, 11% more than in 2016. This is equivalent to 4.4 employment and internship offers per student, with 67% of them gaining an employment opportunity tanks to one of the channels to which the School gives them access
91% of students find employment within 6 months of completing their Master, with 9% starting their own business
The statistic that tops off these positive employability figures is the number of students who find work within six months of completing their Master: 91%. Moreover, 74% acknowledge that their professional situation has improved after their time at EAE, with 50% reporting an increase in their salary.
Another key figure highlights the entrepreneurship of the School's students: 9% start their own business after graduating. In 2017, another milestone was reached in this respect with the launch of EAE LAB. The School's accelerator/incubator helps entrepreneurs to develop their business and identify their competitive advantages, offering them a range of benefits, services and training.
More than 200 companies took part in our 4 large employability events
Spread across the students' academic year, Talent Week, Company Day, Online Employment Forum and Company Meeting are the four key events organized by the Professional Careers Service. They all focus on networking and forging relations between the School's students and the professional companies that attend.
The second edition EAE Business School's Talent Week welcomed 76 participating companies, offering their programs at both the Madrid and Barcelona Campuses, including Adecco, Atresmedia, Banco Mediolanum, Burson Marsteller, ElTenedor, Grant Thornton, Leroy Merlin, Manpower, Siemens and Winche Redes Comerciales, among others.
Furthermore, the Online Employment Forum brought together more than 80 companies from all over the world, which posted around 2,000 employment and internship opportunities. The Employment Forum, which was 100% bilingual in Spanish and English, enabled students to access, consult and clear up their doubts with recruiters from the companies, through an online system.
The fifth edition of Company Day welcomed the participation of 24 companies. This event gives students the chance to get a more in-depth insight into the companies' selection processes, identify the professional profile required by each company and enhance their employment opportunities.
Lastly, the Company Meetings bring companies to the School looking for profiles to join their teams. In the sessions, recruitment professionals and Human Resources executives visit the Madrid and Barcelona Campuses to present their companies' mission, vision and values, as well as the positions available.
