EAE Business School, owned by Planeta Formación y Universidades, has launched the fourth edition of the EAE Impact Awards, which it runs within the framework of 4YFN, with the aim of giving recognition to the entrepreneurs who are developing business models that contribute towards achieving the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and accelerate progress towards a more sustainable, fair and inclusive world.
The deadline for entrepreneurial projects to submit an application is 9th February. From all the ventures that take part in this 2024 edition, five finalists will be selected. These finalists will receive mentoring sessions to prepare to present their ventures at the Pitching Point at 4YFN on 28th February, which will include key players from the entrepreneurial ecosystem: investors, Business Angels, entrepreneurs and so on. The winner will be selected by a specialist jury.
In the last edition, a total of 80 projects took part in the event, from 12 different countries including Spain, India, Kenya, Nigeria and the Philippines, and a diverse range of sectors, such as farming, the environment, industry, 4.0, energy, tourism and sustainability, among others.
Eventually, the top prize went to the Alba García and Anna Cañadell, the entrepreneurs behind BCOME, a platform for managing the fashion industry, its supply chain and products sustainably from three perspectives: economically, socially and environmentally. The initiative enhances the control of the business using quality data as a decision-making tool and improving communication of sustainable insights with more sustainability-conscious stakeholders and consumers.
