Tuesday 19th May 2020 - EAE Business School has created Global EAE Lab Challenge, an initiative led by EAE Entrepreneur, which aims to provide responses to the challenges caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. On 4th June, a total of 18 students from the Barcelona and Madrid Campuses, divided into seven groups, will present various solutions to the challenges posed.
With the support of their tutors and lecturers, each group has to develop a project that offers a response to issues connected with the coronavirus pandemic, such as helping older people, Covid-19 prevention, managing longdistance social/family relationships, advice to small companies and support for unemployed people. The final project will be presented to a panel of experts who will then choose the projects that they believe have the greatest potential to tackle the challenges generated by the pandemic.
The seven students from the Barcelona Campus and eleven from the Madrid Campus taking part in the Global EAE Lab Challenge are currently part of the EAE Lab Pyramid, a process through which students design their own business model over the course of 10 months. With their proposal for one of the challenges of Covid-19, they could apply to be selected for the Propeller, which consists of implementing the project on the market.
“The Global EAE Lab Challenge is designed to prepare participants for the real world, by honing the aptitudes and skills they will need to succeed in the new global panorama that awaits them”, explained Rocío Alvarez-Ossorio, the Director of EAE Lab, EAE Business School
