On Saturday the 23rd of April, it’s World Book Day and, at EAE, we wanted to be part of the celebrations. Here we bring you the 5 most influential books in the world of business, some of which have inspired and helped the great business executives and companies become what they are today — and others that will help the generations to come. Whether you want to read them or buy them as a present, take note of these great books and make room in your library.
Author: John Brooks
This book has become one of the classics in the world of business. So much so, that Bill Gates called it “the best business book I’ve ever read”.
Throughout its 12 chapters, Business Adventures tells the best success and failure stories of the business world, both of big companies and small entrepreneurs. Even though the book was written in 1969 and some of its visions may seem outdated, the fundamentals haven’t changed, just like Bill Gates said. That’s why we can still find great value in what this book has to teach us, even nowadays.
A book mentioned by R. R. Martin, recommended by Warren Buffet, praised by Bill Gates and to which even the Simpsons dedicated a whole episode. If you still haven’t read it, stop wasting your time.
