In order to tackle the current context of constant change and transformation, companies need agility, speed and short, efficient innovation cycles. These are all qualities that the startup movement has nurtured for years now. The Lean and Agile methodologies that startups embrace are the only approaches that provide an effective response for the times that we are living in, the age of entrepreneurship, in which small, dynamic, efficient companies triumph through constant innovation and, in some cases, disruption.
New technologies are revolutionizing the world. Technologies such as Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Big data and the Internet of Things (IoT) help to automate processes and make lots of jobs obsolete in both large and small companies. Therefore, it is becoming increasingly essential for professionals to have an in-depth understanding of these technologies, grasp the added value that they can generate for the market and pay close attention to the opportunities that this new scenario presents.
At EAE Business School, we understand the importance of innovation in the modern world and, with this in minds, we offer a range of services especially designed to guide and accompany our students as they embark on their entrepreneurial ventures.EAE Lab is certainly one of the most attractive and effective of these services: a project incubator that helps launch several startups year after year.
Between May and September 2019, the third cycle of the EAE Lab incubation program was run, with the participation of mentors, coaches and partners working closely with EAE’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. Two interesting projects got up and running. In October, the fourth incubation cycle began, with eight startups being selected, five at the Barcelona Campus and three in Madrid.
Here is a description of the projects and the brains behind them:
