I am currently an Intern Marketing Manager at Boreal SC, a talent and human resources management consultancy specializing in Supply Chain. I joined a few months ago alongside as the company was embarking on a change in direction, and I am in charge of changing the image and its digital implementation. At the office, I monitor our campaigns, oversee benchmarking and design strategies for attracting new clients.
How did the opportunity to join Boreal SC arise?
I saw the job offer on EAE’s Employment Portal and I applied straightaway. The profile was looking for an Internship in Digital Marketing, campaign implementation and content management. I felt that it was a great opportunity to learn about the Supply Chain, Logistics and Transport sector.
What was the selection process like? Did you prepare in any special way?
The selection process was predominantly an interview. I prepared my work portfolio and, during the interview, they discussed lots of concepts, contents and communication methods that I had learned in the workshops run by the Professional Careers Service. I was pleasantly surprised to meet some other EAE graduates, which made me feel more at ease and confident.
How did it feel when they told you were the selected candidate?
When I found out that I had been selected, I felt really happy, grateful and lucky. I told my family straightaway and shared the good news.

I am qualified in two professional careers: Management and Graphic Design, followed by Marketing. As such, I feel that my professional experience in creativity, advertising and marketing gave me just the right profile for the position.

Boreal SC’s strengths are its specialization in Supply Chain, including logistics and transport, and its training programs, which benefit from the experience and supervision of the company’s Founding Partner. I have also learned a great deal from the company’s international human capital, most of whom went to EAE.

I am quite observant, and I always enjoy learning something new. I am sure that the experience that I am gaining in process management will boost my development. I realise that personal and professional growth never ends, and I want to be prepared for my next professional challenge.
Why did you decide to take the Master in Marketing and Commercial Management, rather than another program?
I chose the Master in Marketing and Commercial Management with the Minor in Emotional Intelligence and Coaching Training with NLP to gain a first-hand and up-to-date international perspective. I chose EAE as it sets the standard in Marketing and is the second most reputable business school in Spain.
What aspects of the knowledge and skills you acquired at EAE would you highlight?
Without a doubt, the experience and knowledge of all the lecturers is invaluable. There is always something that you can learn from every one of them. The new tools and vision of Marketing that they show us are really practical and applicable. Another valuable feature was sharing the classroom with classmates from different countries, sectors and professional experiences.
Would you recommend this international experience?
I would definitely recommend it. Gaining international experience paves the way for learning. I had the pleasure of learning with well-prepared classmates who were keen to learn and had experience of working in different countries, which enhanced my own experience. As well as growing as a person, living in a different environment has given me a more global vision of things. Without a doubt, it is a choice I recommend taking.
Beyond the academic side of things, what other experiences did you have in your year at EAE Business School?
Wow, so many. From meeting my classmates on the Master, sharing the same desire to grow, new friends, discovering different cultures, work meetings, learning different ways of seeing the world and training as global professionals. They are all priceless experiences that I really value.
Would you recommend EAE? Why?
I would recommend EAE Business School because of its great academic achievements. The lecturers have extensive experience and knowledge, and they share real cases and do not hesitate to help you clear up any doubts. In my opinion, the School is a good showcase for the professional world in Spain and our own countries. In addition, I would highlight the support given by the Professional Careers team in looking for employment opportunities and helping improve our professional profile.
