The University Master in Supply Chain Management, run by the Universidad Internacional de la Empresa in collaboration with EAE Business School, has been positively assessed by the Fundación para el Conocimiento Madri+d, verified by the Universities Council and registered on the University, College and Qualification Registry (RUCT) of the Ministry of Universities. Presentation of the University Master in Supply Chain Management

EAE Business School’s University Master in Supply Chain Management focuses on training operations and logistics professionals and executives who understand the high added value of logistics processes for their companies and uses these processes to enhance the company’s competitiveness. Professionals equipped to design, implement and maintain a strategic vision of the management of the Operations area and, in particular, logistics and comprehensive supply chain management.

At the end of the Master, students have the option to do a two-week residential program at Hogeschool van Amsterdam (the Netherlands).

Employability

Our Professional Careers Service focuses on guiding and accompanying students towards achieving their professional objectives, as well as aligning their expectations and interests more effectively to the employment market.

International Talent Program

This program is designed for students who want to enhance their international professional development with the aim of giving them the maximum visibility among the multinational companies that work with EAE. To achieve this goal, the program organizes activities such as Employment Workshops, interviews with headhunters and access to international recruitment consultants around the world.

Operations and Logistics Advisory Board

The syllabus is designed in line with the recommendations and suggestions of the Advisory Board of the Operations and Logistics, formed by 25 professionals from companies such as PepsiCo, Nike, DHL, Danone, Accenture, Fujitsu, Grupo Planeta, Mango and Grupo Puig, among others.

EAE in the Rankings

Ranked among the Top 90 Supply Chain Management Masters in the world (Eduniversal Best Masters Ranking Worldwide 2016-2017). Second best Master in Spain in the field of Logistics (El Mundo’s 250 Masters 2017 ranking).

EAE, CSCMP certified

EAE Business School is certified by the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals for running Supply Chain Management program.

SCPRO Certification

The syllabus and teaching material on the Master are designed to prepare any students interested in successfully taking the Level 1 SCPro Level certification. EAE is certified by the CSCMP.

Company visits

Students benefit from an extensive program of visits to companies operating in the field of logistics specifically. Last year, students visited companies such as 3M, DHL, DIMOES, TEKNIA and the Madrid Metro, among others.

Business Networking

Within the framework of our Business Networking program, students have the chance to attend a series of meeting with professionals from large companies, as well as other EAE students, which give participants the opportunity to expand their network of professional contacts.

Operations and Logistics Plan

The courses and their content culminate in a Final Thesis, tutored over the course of the program, which consists of developing a plan for the Operations area and Supply Chain Management in particular.

Major + Minor

EAE implements the Majors and Minors system, which replaces the traditional method of choosing elective courses.

Soft Skills Program

The aim of EAE’s Soft Skills program is to enable participating professionals to round off their training with the strategic mobilization of their personal skills. The program consists of ten independent monthly workshops structured in line with the Emotional Competence Model

International Residential Program

At the end of the tuition period, students have the option of taking part in a two-week residential program at Hogeschool van Amsterdam (the Netherlands). This program is available for students at an extra cost.

EAE Entrepreneur

Our goal is to provide EAE’s entrepreneurial students with the resources and environment required to develop new business ideas. We fulfil the needs of the entrepreneurs and investors, as well as our students and researchers. The services include Training, Financing and Accompaniment for EAE’s entrepreneurial students.

Objectives

The key objective of the University Master in Supply Chain Management is to train professionals who know and use a broad range of management techniques and tools and who are equipped to make effective use of technological information systems and discover and exploit new niches for global business development. Supply chain management therefore becomes an essential tool for maintaining and increasing the company’s level of competitiveness in the markets in which it operates and, even more importantly, in the markets it plans to enter in the future.

Competencies

Over the course of the University Master in Supply Chain Management, the students acquire the set of competences required to perform their role effectively. Specifically, they develop the following competences:

On-Campus format

The University Master in Supply Chain Management at EAE Madrid is run in an in-person format run at our Madrid Campus (Calle Joaquín Costa 41) right at the heart of the financial hub, very close to the Nuevos Ministerios complex, Paseo de la Castellana and Calle Serrano.

At the Campus, students have access to all the School’s facilities and services, in a centre covering around 4,000 m2 spread over five floors, with a terrace and private garden. Our facilities include 24 study rooms and classrooms, 10 multi-purpose rooms for coworking, meetings and video conferences, and events hall with a seating capacity of 100 people, reading room and library, cafeteria and a number of student service offices.
