EAE's Annual Report 2018 includes a section focusing on the School's institutional relations, the professionalism of its teaching team, the multicultural profile of the students and its optimal position in the rankings.

The Facts & Figures section of the Annual Report 2018 analyses the quality of the faculty of EAE Business School and School's relations with international organizations. In addition, it examines aspects such as the countries of origin of the students, with 103 nationalities represented, and highlights the top positions the School holds in the most prestigious rankings.

After 60 years of progress, the figures published in the Annual Report 2018 rank EAE as the leading business school in Spain that runs official university Masters: 96% of students recommend EAE and, in 2018, over 4,500 students studied at the Madrid and Barcelona Campuses in Calle Príncipe de Vergara or Calle Joaquín Costa in the capital and in Calle Aragó in the Catalan city, with facilities covering 15,000 metres in total, dedicated to top-quality tuition.

Institutional relations and Faculty & Research

EAE Business School is a member of 34 sector professional associations (22 national and 12 international) and has agreements in place with two leading Spanish universities: the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. At an international level, the School has signed 82 partnership agreements with universities and business schools in 26 countries (on 4 continents). The School's international projection is well established and constantly growing, with 72% international students coming from 103 counties.

More than 500 lecturers comprise EAE's academic faculty (33% international from 28 different countries), while 70% combine their professional activity with their teaching duties, enabling them to share their first-hand insight into the latest business trends. The teaching team scores highly on satisfaction indices, with an average rating of 9.1 out of 10 in 2018. Moreover, the lecturers and researchers accomplished a lot of great work last year, participating and presenting at 35 national and international congresses, and publishing 22 issues of Harvard Deusto journals and 10 books over the course of the year, while the SRC published 24 scientific reports, among other achievements.

Employability and business

The School's links with the business community form part of EAE's key activity, particularly with respect to its Partner Companies' employability programs. In 2018, the School posted over 7,000 employment offers from more than 5,300 Partner Companies, leading to over 500 interviews and 100 Graduate Programs (Jumping Talent Universia, Banc Sabadell London, Correos, HP, etc). In 2018, the top recruiting companies were Nestlé, L'Oréal, LVMH, Ikea and Schneider Electric. Many thanks to all of them.

EAE also recorded great figures in terms of the entrepreneurial ecosystem, with a 10% increase in the number of students embarking on entrepreneurial activity. In addition, over 50% of the projects accelerated at EAE are now on the market and the School has more than 50 entrepreneurship partners.

The EAE student profile

In 2018, students from 103 countries on four continents studied at EAE Business School: 38 from Europe, 24 from the Americas, 22 from Asia, 17 from Africa and 2 from Oceania. The programs welcome students with a range of different profiles, including:

  • MBA Profile: 54 nationalities, 6 years' average professional experience and 32 average student age, mainly from the Americas (51%) and Europe (46.5%).
  • Full Time Profile: 99 nationalities, 5 years' average professional experience and 28 years average age. Place of origin: 57% from the Americas and 33% from Europe.
  • Executive Profile: 42 nationalities (79% Europe and 17 % the Americas) with 10 years' professional experience and 34 average student age.

EAE's top position, ranking among the best business schools in the world

National and international rankings accredit the prestigious status of EAE Business School and the quality of its tuition. In 2018, EAE Business School once again achieved excellent results. At an international level, these achievements include:

  • EAE ranks among the top 25 business schools in the world according the América Economía Ranking 2018 for the third year in a row.
  • Top 35 in the Bloomberg Businessweek ranking. EAE is one of the 32 best business schools in the world outside the USA.
  • 7 EAE Masters rank among the best in the world in their respective areas according to the Eduniversal Best Masters Ranking Worldwide 2018-2019, including the Full-Time MBA, the Master in Corporate Communication Management, the Master in Human Resources Management, the Master in Project Management, the Master in Big Data and Analytics, the Master in Stock and Financial Markets and the Master in Supply Chain Management.
  • EAE's MBA is ranked among the top 50 best in Europe and the top 150 in the world according to QS Global MBA 2019, which highlighted the return on investment of the program for graduates and the multicultural profile of the students.
  • EAE's Masters in Big Data and Marketing Management rank among the top 50 in the world according to the QS Masters Ranking 2019. The School's Global Executive MBA and Full-Time MBA classify among the best in the world according to the Global MBA Ranking 2019. Last but not least, EAE's Masters in Project Management and Stock and Financial Markets rank among the top 100 in the world in the QS Masters Ranking 2019.

At a national level, EAE is the second most reputable business school in Spain according to the Merco Ranking 2018, and 6 of the School's Masters rank among the best in Spain according to El Mundo's 250 Masters Ranking 2018.
